Devils in the Dark has been described as “the best Tassie Devil experience in Tasmania.”

What To Expect

It's as wild and natural as it gets, an unforgettable after dark experience watching Tasmanian Devils devour a whole carcass. With all your senses activated, you will be undercover in a spacious hide, watching as if you were a film maker for National Geographic.

Only inches away and literally eye to eye with the worlds largest carnivorous marsupial, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience… all while sipping on some of Tasmania's very best wine and cheese.

Devils in the Dark is for ages 6 years and above.

  • YES!

As you entry the park let the front desk know you have been to devils in the dark or have a booking and you will receive a discounted rate.

  • Devils in the Dark is a raw, wildlife experience and is recommended for children aged 6+. Children are required to remain quiet and seated during the event and we do not have a quiet space available. While most children are captivated, some children may find the carnivorous behaviour distressing.

Children's tickets are available for 6-15 year olds.

  • Yes! Private bookings for events such as ladies nights, hens and bucks parties, corporate groups and intimate experience for couples are all possible.

  • Devils in the Dark timings change seasonally. In Winter, the tour can begin as early as 5pm while in Summer, it can be 8pm or 9pm.

Due to seasonal changes in daylight time particularly during summer in Tasmania, the tour may operate before it is completely dark.

Please check the start time when you book your tickets.
